Our policy for digital product purchases.
1. Digital Products Policy
MadBot is a downloadable WordPress plugin, which is a digital product. Once purchased, you receive immediate access to download the software and your license key.
Because digital products can be downloaded and used instantly, and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, we do not offer refunds as a standard policy.
Before purchasing: We encourage you to review the features page, documentation, and live demo to ensure MadBot meets your needs.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider a refund or credit in the following exceptional cases:
Product Defect
If the plugin has a critical bug or defect that prevents it from functioning as described, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
Duplicate Purchase
If you accidentally purchased the same product twice using the same email address. Contact us promptly and we will refund the duplicate order.
Major Undocumented Incompatibility
If the plugin fails to work due to a compatibility issue with a standard WordPress configuration that is not documented in our system requirements.
Note: Refund requests based on change of mind, not reading the product description, or simply not needing the product anymore are not eligible for consideration.
3. How to Request Consideration
If you believe your situation qualifies as an exceptional circumstance:
- Contact our support team via our contact form
- Include your order number from your Gumroad purchase confirmation
- Describe the issue in detail, including any error messages or screenshots
- Allow our team to assist before requesting a refund
Our support team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
4. Processing Approved Requests
If your request is approved:
- Refund processing: Within 5 business days
- License deactivation: Your license key will be revoked
- Bank processing: Additional 5-10 business days for funds to appear
You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been processed.
After a Refund
- Your license key will be permanently deactivated
- You will no longer have access to plugin updates or support
- You should uninstall the plugin from your website(s)
