Switching to Managed Mode

By default, MadBot runs in Community Mode where users can create characters, games, and asset packs. If you prefer full control over your platform content, you can switch to Managed Mode.

Disabling User Content Creation

Go to MadBot Dashboard, click Settings, then scroll to UGC Settings. Set User Character Creation to Disabled. This prevents users from creating their own characters, games, or asset packs. Only admin-created content will be available.

Disabling Creator Profiles

In the same settings page, uncheck Enable Creator Profiles. This removes the /c/username/ profile pages and hides creator attribution from characters.

When to Use Managed Mode

Managed Mode is ideal for business applications like coaching platforms, customer support, or curated entertainment experiences where you want complete control over the AI characters users interact with.
