Quick Start Checklist

Use this checklist to ensure your MadBot installation is complete.

Installation

• Plugin installed and activated
• License key entered and validated
• Database tables created successfully

AI Configuration

• AI provider selected (Groq, OpenAI, etc.)
• API key entered and tested
• Model selected

Basic Settings

• Site name and branding configured
• User registration settings defined
• Email settings configured

Content

• At least one character created or defaults imported
• Character tested with sample conversation

Optional Settings

• Stripe configured (if monetizing)
• NSFW controls set (if applicable)
• Translations customized

You are ready to launch when all required items are checked.
