First Configuration
Essential settings to configure after installing MadBot.
AI Provider Setup
- Go to MadBot > Settings > AI Configuration
- Select your AI provider (Groq recommended for best value)
- Enter your API key
- Choose a model (Qwen 3 32B recommended)
- Save settings
Basic Settings
Configure these essential options in MadBot > Settings:
- Site name and branding
- Default language
- User registration settings
- NSFW controls (if applicable)
Testing Your Setup
After configuration, test your setup by chatting with a default character. If responses work correctly, your AI provider is properly configured.
