Configure email notifications for your MadBot platform.
Email Types
MadBot sends several types of automated emails:
- Welcome email (new registrations)
- Password reset
- Subscription confirmations
- Payment receipts
- We miss you re-engagement emails
SMTP Configuration
For reliable email delivery, configure SMTP settings:
- Go to MadBot > Settings > Email
- Enter your SMTP host and port
- Add authentication credentials
- Set the From email address
- Test the configuration
Recommended: Use a transactional email service like Resend, SendGrid, or Amazon SES for better deliverability.
Customizing Email Templates
Email templates can be customized in MadBot > Settings > Email Templates. Each template supports variables like user name and site name that are replaced automatically when sent.
